Re: GPZ1100B2 Ohlins Shocks / Others ?

Below is an screen shot from the Ohlins catalogue showing the length of the shocks etc.( Unfortunately the GPZ11/ 1000 J is not listed but I thought standard shock length for those bikes was 365 the same as ZRX11's. However the Brooks Barn suspension web site says 350mm and would be a useful place t...

HI If you not after original Harrison mini calipers bolt straight on.
Otherwise try z-power or z1 enterprises for replica ones.

Re: Dyna S ignition problem

I agree with the boys, cannot see what benefit the wired george mod gives you.
I have always had a good 12v feed at the coils on all my zeds, If not then its been a wiring fault needing correction.

Re: Dyna S ignition problem

I have found DYNA's to be very reliable and have only had them fail when they took a knock after a crash. The HT coils themselves can eventually die as they are exposed to heat if mounted under the tank. But I would stick with the dyna S and not a later 2000 as they need a control ecu etc. The new d...

Re: J motor into an early frame

Yes it can be done, the length is very similar and it will go.
Some people only use the one front mount of the J but personally I would add a lower front engine mount to the frame as the J has two.
