Chris, your dad was correct it was razed, but there is still stuff there and the place is huge, also there is quite a large museum there but not for the faint hearted!!!!. Probably the most disgusting place I've ever been, but having said that Germany is a lovely country, everyone is polite and help...

Forgot to mention, the bike is not mine, it was lent to me by my friend Stuart Penny after I did a full cyclinder head guide replacement and valve seat recut and engine rebuild over the August bank holiday. How good is that for a mate!!! The bike is up for sale if anyone is interested. Buzzard.

Thanks for the complement Andy, I didn't think I did that much. Anyway as Zorded pointed out plenty of scope for mods and improvement, so much so I'll have to get my arse in gear and finish my bikes so you got someone to race against. Buzzard.

Leave the washer in place, but use Loctite 243 on the threads when assembling, good stuff and it won't come undone. Buzzard

I would'nt ponce around with second hand valves which will probably need re-faceing anyway,and £60 for 8 new valves from evilbay/z-power is the way forward. if you need seats recut,I have a full set of seat cutters and this is a job i have done many times. BUZZARD
