Fuel tank Thread
Can anyone tell me the size of the thread on the fuel tap spigot on a Z1 tank? I want to get a cap for one so I can use the coke and harpic clean.
Thanks, Steve

I find the parts diagrams very useful when putting dismantled bits back as they should be.
You can find them here with loads of other useful stuff:

I've got those on long stems also. They are virtually identical to the original Kawasaki items, only difference is a slightly rougher finish on the back. I put foam in the back of mine just to make sure and they are rock steady at any legal speed Wink I think the right hand mirror is a new genuine K...

Bargain at Goodwood
Went to the Revival today and spotted this bargain. It's a Peugeot with a really small radial engine . Brilliant, but not sure it's worth £100K  http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f99/wheelysteve1/20160911_113107_zpso2audqll.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f99/wheelysteve1/20160911_1131...

I seem to have minimised the distortion by taking all the sharp edges from the underside of the bolt heads (new bolts used), and polishing them on my buffing wheel. A bit of oil and gradual tightening and they are tight. In the Clymer book it states the the torque setting for the disc bolts at 30 fo...

Front Brake Light Switch
Fitting a twin disc system to one of the Zeds. As I can't get the brake switch out of the single splitter, I've got to fit a new one.
My question: is it necessary to use any thread sealant/tape on the switch thread before screwing it into the splitter?
Cheers, Steve
