Re: 1000 A1 A2 Wide alluminium rims
Done a few "wide rim jobs" lately. From my experience you can fit a 4.25 inch rim with a 150 tyre on and no need to use an offset sprocket, the chain run will be close to the edge of the tyre but ok, anything bigger and you will have to go up the offset sprockets path. Buzzard@thebuzzworkz.

Re: Z1000 MkII CRANK
Am I right in saying MK2 crank has 16 teeth for the camchain? But are the small ends 17mm for gudgeon pin? I think these are the best / strongest cranks for drag racing, interested Pigford, just got to see what a set of 32 teeth cam wheels are and a 124 link camchain cost. Thanks. Buzzard@thebuzzwor...

Re: possible cylinder head issue
As soon as you loosened the cylinder head nuts you've released the pressure, the seal will be broken/compromised, I my book you have no choice but take the head off and replace the head gaskets, you will also have to replace the barrel gasket as oil gets between crankcase and barrel were it travels ...

Re: Some more Bits'N' peices
Z900 sprocket cover still available? If so I'll have it. Buzzard.
Re: big bores
I'd go for a Wossner 1075cc piston kit, very good quality semi slippers pistons, lighter, gudgeon pins are shorter and lighter, a very good piece of kit. Done a couple of engine builds this year using these pistons, customer well pleased. Buzzard@ the buzzworkz.
