Thank you for your suggestions.
Looks like 3 litres or bigger is the way to go and don't waste your money on expensive fluids.

It needs to be big enough for items such as carbs and ideally with a heater so 3 litre size maybe? Does any one have something to sell? or a ...

This is why I love thus club - a simple question asked by a new member, brilliantly answered in a few replies with sound advice.
No piss taking - no armchair experts giving their opinion on something they know nothing about.
Well done!

Z1A rear shocks upgrade
I would like to upgrade the rear shock absorbers to cope with the added weight when I have a pillion. I'm over 17 stone to start with (all pure muscle :hys) and with the extra weight they bottom out. I want something that if possible looks a bit period and will just bolt on so I can easily go back t...

Z1A Ignition Barrel Bracket
Does anyone have a spare ignition barrel bracket it's the brassy looking thing that slides over the ignition lock barrel and has two 'feet' that grip on the back of the plastic housing. The Z1A seems to be a bit longer than the later models.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Xmas wish list
It's nearly upon us! The time of year when grumpy old gits like me have got to pretend to like the relatives you've done your best to avoid all year, who insist on visiting to eat free food and my booze!! Anyway the kids have been asking what I want this year as apparently I'm impossible to buy for!...

Re: Blowing Fuse
There are only two reasons that the fuse will get hot - 1 if you have a sustained overload. I recently had a similar fault, the start button had dislodged and was shorting to the metal switch body. If you suspect an over load unplug the harness plugs one at a time to narrow down the fault. It's wort...

Re: Speedo Callibration?
Mine always seemed to be saying 80mph whenever I went out so I sought out some of the temporary 'check your speed' signs we have in the villages around here in rural lincs and low and behold my speedo was quite accurate. :D Joking aside these radar based signs are quite accurate if you note the Rev ...
