Does anyone have a spare ignition barrel bracket it's the brassy looking thing that slides over the ignition lock barrel and has two 'feet' that grip on the back of the plastic housing. The Z1A seems to be a bit longer than the later models.

There are only two reasons that the fuse will get hot - 1 if you have a sustained overload. I recently had a similar fault, the start button had dislodged and was shorting to the metal switch body.
