If it is a fuse then they blow for a reason, so given he was turning the bars when it all went dead I'd be looking at looms around the headstock area.

Next time the 'Stop me and buy one' guy comes down your road (not on his GS1000S) do exactly that and stop him and buy a Fab, twister or some other frozen type snack on a Stick. then once you have enjoyed it's refreshing taste in...

That does look rather pretty. Nothing sounds (or smells) like a big oil burning triple, and a Kettle is one of the boxes I've yet to tick on my 70's icon list

A4 and Z1000 A1 calipers are the same. Z1000 A2 calipers were moved to the rear of the fork legs so are slightly different as the bleed nipple was moved to the front of the caliper from the side. They will still fit though.
