if there genuine, they are numbered 1-4 on top at collector end, if headers are rechromed - good chance numbers are gone.
some after markets are also numbered, in Oz anyway.

Cannot get hold of a lock tab washer as mines snapped, would it be ok to use Loctite thread lock (or simular) on the bolt instead of lock tab washer?

evans, wot oil are you useing? As we know must be mineral or semi synthetic.

Some years ago had a Z1B with new plates fitted, mistakenly put in synthetic, had same prob as your described, slipped/grabbed on launch only in first gear.
