Re: Pre puncture tyre seal stuff?
I use goop in my versys1000 and my fatbob but I wouldn't use it in tubed tyres on my z1. Remember to tell whoever is taking the tyres off .

Re: Starting on 3 cylinders
Good news you've got it sorted, they're so easy to work on and dont require any special tools like modern bikes , all that's needed is experience, and that's where other owners come in. Oh and it's so rewarding once you've done it at home without a dealer.

Re: Starting on 3 cylinders
Pull the plug cap off the plug so it's almost touching the threaded top of the plug while it's running, it'll start to fire , let it warm up and then push it back on fully, my z1b does it and my zrx1200 aswell. You won't get a shock from it but if you're scared , use a pair of pliers.

Re: Z!R stardust blue paint
You could give my mate mally a try, he's owned a zed and a few other bikes that he's painted, and done a few for me over the years, all excellent, he just sells touch up kits now.

Couple of inquirys but nothing further, presumably it's overpriced, as I said I don't really know what it's worth, so open to realistic offers, it's sat here gathering dust and it's a shame it's not being used.

Re: Motobatt Terminals?
I have one on my z1b and harley, no problems at all, the good thing about them you can screw the wires onto the terminals either on the top or the side.

Tuned gpz1100b1/z1000j engine , never run
Hi, everyone, a few years ago I was building a race bike to compete in the USA classic vintage superbike races, half way through the plans changed, I sold the rolling chassis but kept the engine. It was built by Graham at diptune, Basically it's got z1000j (998cc) barrels fitted because the rules st...

Re: Did not expect this
I've just watched a YouTube video of a guy in America that's rebuilding a cb750, it had been stood for a few years. When he drained carbs 3 and 4 what came out was green like antifreeze. 1and 2 was yellow and varnished colour. His channels called Brick House Builds
