Re: Mishmash Zed

Funny ol'day today. I had a chat the other day, with a chap I know about my Z1. Well today he comes in to see me, with a bank of carbs in a carrier bag. Asks me if they would be useful to my project. Well it looks like I now have what I think are US spec 28mm Z1000 carbs. Apart from being matt black...

Mishmash Zed

Well after putting this in the garage about 6 years ago soaked in spray oil and having moved twice, changed job and spent a year building a bike to race at Bonneville Speedweek. It's now time to start on "Mishmash" as its now called. It's a Italian import rather than US so European spec wo...

Re: Hi Folks

Thank you all for the welcome. Phillippe you are correct, it's a 1974 Z1A frame, with a 73 Z1 engine with late model carbs. I finally found out after a FB chat with Keith Foulsham, that its an Italian import not a yank import woohoo. The wiring is not the best as you can imagine after 43 years , so ...

Hi Folks

Well I finally got around to joining the club, after lurking for awhile hahaha now a full pum. I have a little treasure that really did come out of a barn, where my friend had stored it until we had a cup of tea, a haggle & a deal. Its been sat in the garage at mine for a few years now, but have...
