Thanks for replies. Eventually went with getting Buzzard to comprehensively redo the chap’s original head, it needed a lot of work and wasn’t a cheap option but it’s a good job now and a known quantity, and ready to bolt on as opposed to spending nearly as much on a second hand head with no valves, ...

Regarding the A4 paint set up, I read that in the states, you could opt for this particular green (I forget the two greens) and you got the previous year's green ( as here). In The US they were also building 900 A5s in 1977 so that may be why there is some confusion over having the option of an A4 ...

Kawasaki ZRX1200 - 2001 to 2004 chain and sprockets are 530, and has the same size spline for the front, and same diameter / spacings for the rear as a Z1000R. JT Sprockets list JTF1529 with a 16 or 17 teeth front sprocket. JTR488 with 38 - 47 teeth for rear sprocket. You also need to make sure any...

What’s on it at the moment and is that gearing what you want? Work it out with whatever front sprocket you’re going to use to get the same ratio as the stock setup. 530 sprocket usually a 17 tooth instead of 15 sums are pretty straightforward if you’ve not changed wheel sizes. 15/41 is 17/46 or 47 ...
