when I had my Z1100r I repaired damaged fins by buying the correct thickness aluminium shaping the missing part and then getting a local fab shop to weld it on,I then dressed it up.

stunning well done, which engine paint did you use in the end? Any thoughts tips? Thanks all the comments :up Weaver - I used SIMONIZ Motorcycle Heat Dispersant Paint but I don't think they make it any more? (HO-SIMVHT145C). Think it's been replaced with Enamel paint (SIMVHT32C) I cleaned everythin...

problems like this usually require properly tracing the cables for each component and examining them carefully,there will be a bare/loose wire somewhere that is shorting out.Take your time and you will find it.Good luck.

When you are setting up your chain length with that swingarm set it up so that the axel is at the top,they are eccentric adjusters if you have it at the bottom it may wear thru your swingarm.

Make sure you get the right one,there are 2 types,one for riveting a solid pin and one for flaring a pin with a hollow end,as mentioned Whale are good.
