Agreed neil it's a lot of beans but welded crank, gearbox bearings, head work it's probably about right.

Yep, when you do start totalling the work up and the price of parts, it starts to make sense.

I don't suppose that a J / GPz engine will fit earlier frames... like a Z1R? Even if it did, I'm unlikely to do it..... just curious to know

With new adaptors for the fromt mounting..it'll fit.
