I have owned this FireBlade since 2016, the mileage is 42,215 miles, it’s currently on SORN and a new MOT will be carried out prior to sale. I have all the previous MOTs, the original Owner’s Manual, Service Book and service history. A major service was carried out at 35,662 miles by an independent dealer and a Hodna main dealer service at 42,123 on 21 July 2018 and the Service Book is stamped up to this date.
The bike comes with the two original keys, the tool kit, an original UK 1993 RRP sales brochure and several period magazine road test reports from 1992/3.
Of typical Hodna quality, it rides very well and the engine runs nicely. Metzeler Sportec M3 tyres with 4mm of tread are fitted. Goodridge brake hoses are fitted and the original brake hoses come with the bike. All the brake pads were replaced with EBC HH at 41,876 miles.
Two correctly stamped OE 92/93 spare exhaust cans come with the bike which have been resprayed in gloss black (correct finish). Front and rear paddock stands are also included in the sale.
This is an excellent example of a very early and well maintained FireBlade in original condition/bodywork and very good supporting history. I will be disappointed to sell it, but I am unable to ride it as often as I would like due to an old motocross injury to my right wrist which flares up every time I do, in fact I’ve only ridden it for 247 miles since 2016.
I've since bought a 76 Z900 and a 71 CB750 K1 for a more upright riding position - plus, with two cars in my garage there is a distinct lack of garage space.
