Z1R2 ELR 1983... sold pending full payment

#1 PostAuthor: PumbaZ1 » Wed Oct 07, 2020 11:47 am

I am reluctantly selling my Lawson, done 31400 miles and has been on a SORN for about 11 years which was the last time it was run when i had to move it from my mates workshop.
Ive spent a lot of money on it and have various spare parts boxed up as well. I have the log book and engine/frame numbers match.
Apart from a bit of TLC and a polish, all it needs is an airbox (which i have but cannot find), a new battery and the tank mouth needing a bit of TLC its a really nice bike.
From memory its got the following
New tyres f/b
New sprockets f/b
New chain
New discs/pads/brake internals
Forks rechromed
New pistons/rings
Stainless braided oul hoses and new oil cooler
Wheels resprayed/polished
Engine cases polished
Respray by Dream Team
Seat recovered
Frame and various other bits powder coated
New clutch/friction plates
Ohlins rear shocks
Kerker exhaust

Im near Durham but the bike is in Harlow, Essex but i can get someone to show any potential buyers.

Im looking for £5000 ono, if anybody wants anymore pictures or info call me on 07880 745506 or email craftycarper2004@aol.com

Sorely tempted, just running out of room unless you fancy a swop for a rex.

GLWS :D

I had a chat with Dale about this bike a few weeks ago - assuming the airbox ( did your mate look on the bike Dale it looks like it’s in one of the pics...) turns up the only thing really missing are proper headlamp brackets and original style indicators, the fairing brackets are present. I also believe the Kerker is new as in while purchased a while ago it hasn’t been used.

What a bargain. Though they go for almost double the price. With Öhlins ... WOW.
Cheers, Uli

It was indeed a runner, I had to move it from my mates workshop to my parents garage and then a split/eventual divorce from the Mrs meant everything just came to a standstill with it, and thats where its still at.

I had a look in the garage for the airbox Chris but couldn’t see it but didn’t look on the bike :| , I may even have the indicators amongst all the odds and sods, I know there is a set of forks.
