Glad you got what you wanted for your bike. The Z1300 looks a peach. Pleased for you.

Cheers, my mum lives in Upton so maybe I’ll bump into you on Poole Quay.

These bikes are so hard to second guess aren’t they, a complete mystery.

Yep, 12-13K seems to be commonplace now Steve as far as ebay goes anyway

Looking at this I should up my agreed value on my z1a/b from £9k to something above £12k

Absolutely you should.
My harsh learnings have been:
that a reasonable A4 is around £12k with ‘perfect’ ones around £17k.
Z1a/b look like £15k upwards and great originals hovering close £20k
Of course, condition is everything and there are mongrels out there of each version.
But even if yours is ‘average’ then you do need to review.

Absolutely Jon, I am definitely discussing my agreed values when renewal comes around.

I’m in exactly the same situation but can’t let mine go for such a good price. I paid over £8000 for mine and have spent another couple of thousand trying to get it back in the road and running well. Carbs are a nightmare!

“Bill P
Yep a bargain , pity it was cheaper on ebay than to a club member
That shitty attitude and comments like the above were the reason I stopped coming here.
I think I have a good idea what the “P” stands for.
