Here for sale is my Z1B project.
The frame is currently on NOVA.
As you can see, the frame has been altered to accept a GPz750 Turbo rear end, and a front end from the same. Forks hard chromed by A.M. Philpot.
It could easily be put back to standard, as the rear shock absorber mounts haven’t been removed from the frame.
The engine has been stripped, and the cases professionally vapour blasted.
All of the internals are there as far as I am aware, certainly ALL of the major components and include a new camchain from ZPower, just not fitted back in yet, as the bike has only loosely been assembled to ease movement and storage.
The bike is for sale due to health issues. An impending house move, and the potential loss of workshop facilities.
It’s on NOVA so will need registering once completed.
The original frame was damaged – have the original headstock from it – and replaced by a NOS frame (unstamped!)
It could either be completed as is, or without too much difficulty, be put back to being a Z1B again.
It doesn’t come with the 2:4 seat, as that is for my own original Z1B.
The panels are quality replacement ones, and as you can a Tail Tidy is fitted to clean up the rear end (sourced new from the Z1 owners club.
Not sure on value, but I'm looking for £5,000 but will entertain close offers, but derisory offers will be treated with the contempt they deserve
I putting it on here first for an enthusiast to take this on.
But if needs be I am prepared to break it down and release to the Evilbay vultures.
