That's shitty Mark.
I'm still in the frame.
Still got the cash,
Still got a van.
still keen.
Still always wanted a Z1000Mk2.
Don't know where I am on the list though

Re: KZ1000MKII
Happy doesn't cover it, I'm over the moon.
Spence's loss is definitely my gain, I had planned to put it back to standard and am dead chuffed to find the standard forks and swing arm with it, but having seen it in the flesh it does look good with the FZR forks and wheels, but they need to be a different colour.
Thanks Mark, you've made an old man very happy.

Go back to standard, there were only 4,000 odd of each MkII ever produced and they are a dying breed

+1.
A MkII makes your average Z1 look common as fook. It's a handsome bike as standard so why spoil not only it's looks but also it's value by going aftermarket?.

Re: KZ1000MKII
My joy keeps growing...
I've been through the boxes of parts, there are front calipers, original rear brake lever, front master cylinder, forks have yokes.
I have a spare set of wheels and discs, (not with this, from another project).
Standard it's going to be.
I think....

Re: KZ1000MKII
I will Al.
The GS1000 has power in the loom now, so that won't be long in the finishing off.
I think this will get stripped at work, then the powder coating and plating shipped out.
It can go together at home as the stuff arrives back.
