Kerker original 4-1 pipe

#1 PostAuthor: JamesH_Sussex » Thu Feb 01, 2018 2:41 pm

This came on the KZ1000 A4 that I’m now restoring.

Surplus to requirements.

Have listed on Facebook for (to be fair) as stupid figure. General consensus is this is worth around £400. Open to offers around that figure please.

Couple of small dents on headers as pictured (not seen when fitted).

Located in Hove, Sussex but happy to post at cost (UPS).

Tempted but not at £400. They cost around £1000 for a brand new, chrome, one and yours looks well past its best to be honest.

I think it’s worth £100 tops, needs a lot of work to get straight.

I paid £90 for the front and mid pipes in worse condition than those, so £200+ seems reasonable

Postage probably around £20.

For now I think I’ll hold onto her, maybe even refurbish her myself once the bike restoration is complete. I’m no going to give her away.

Thanks for the input - personally I think she’s worth a tad more than £100 (but I would say that).

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it and only takes up space otherwise, when it's possible to get a stainless steel 4 into 1 for less than what you would like for it, your best offer on here is worth taking up.

£100 for me too, it looks pretty knackered to me and would need a lot of work to make it presentable. and the corrosion would still be there under the makeover.

To be fair, I’ve had a really decent offer from another forum member but I’m probably being a bit deluded wanting £250 minimum for this. Maybe eBay is the best place for it? Who knows? - thanks for all of the input / feedback.
