Steel box section braced swing arm

#1 PostAuthor: z1000puddin » Mon Apr 16, 2018 2:14 pm

Not 100%sure what this is off of.
It looks to be either JMC or Metmachex
Not ally, it’s steel.
Has the ecentric bosses.
No bearings fitted.
It’s 231mm at the pivot
It’s 248mm inside between the wheel bosses
I assume it’s possible if a zed 1000J ??
But not sure
Looking for £65+ postsge

That will be a Davida to fit a Z1000J, Z1000R, Z1100R or GPz1100B. Other than your eccentrics being anodised blue it's identical to the one in my J (before I modified it).

And, it's probably the one single item that made the biggest improvement to my chassis, so £65 is an utter bargain! :)

It uses a spindle which has a keyway and an M18 nut at each end. One eccentric has two M4 grubscrews inside to slot into the keyway, where there should be a key in the other end. It's quite a lot longer than the stock spindle, where on mine I had to space even a stock wheel though there's a possibility that mine was made for a different wheel?
Mine has single pinch bolts and has not been a problem.

Here's a Davida Moto on my old 'J' which has twin pinch bolt arrangement.

Mark
It is 18.5mm hole , that would be to suit the M18 spindle
It has the keyway & the 2 x m4 tapped holes on the ecentric adjusters

If No Takers, I will put it on evil bay.

I am going to clear ALL the spares that I have shortly for the 1100r jigsaw puzzle that I bout as its nearing the end of the build.

I will be moving house, so everything will be going
