Z1300 - Stunning Bike
Due to space and project demands I have to move on a couple of bikes: tough call but decided I will be selling my lovely Z1300.
Ive owned the bike for 5 years, but know her provenance for the past 25: she is a 1979 A1 model with 30,000 miles, and is a very tidy example. She has all the all the "hard to find" bits, and has had a lot of TLC and cash lavished on her. e.g.
Full carb rebuild using genuine Mikuni parts (by Oz at Zed Parts), Recent Dyna Coils, Kawasaki Cam ChainTensioner Upgrade, Pingel Fuel Tap fitted (original Kawa unit comes if wanted) Full Re-spray (paint is perfect), Igniter and Engine Check and service (again Zed Parts - £400+ invoice ): bike is wearing a set of nice "special" pipes, but will also come with her original set of Kawasaki genuine silencers which are in very good condition (and truly hard to find). Also comes with some spares: including I think the last available genuine Kawasaki Cam Chain Idler gear, and a freshly re-chromed set of engine crash bars (I never got around to refitting)
I fitted a set of NOS Suzuki GT750 handlebars as I found the Kawa original set really uncomfortable: but the originals are in very good condition and come with the bike.
Ive attached some pics; if of interest PM me and I can provide a lot more info on, or more pics of the bike.
She's never let me down, but in the spirit of full disclosure, as with all the carb model Z13's she can be a b'stard to start if left standing for more than a few days - its annoying but there is a way around this.
Looking for £7400 firm, before she goes on eBay for £7850 in a few weeks time.
Cheers Tim

Wow - yes I like that - the paint colour really suits it.
I think 'very tidy' is a bit of an understatement
Good luck with the sale

Gorgeous looking bike. A bargain at the price I would humbly suggest.

Can’t you hold onto it till Feb and then sell it for the same price. Would be sorely tempted then.

No that’s when I give up on the Z1000 kit.
