GPZ1000RX Motor
Well its time to get rid of all the GPZ stuff I want it all gone So One GPZ1000RX Motor £550 turns over great on start charger, comes with( and you'll need a Van) one 1988 1000RX rolling chassis new tyres refurbed brakes, fork seals, very clean, hand built stainless tails beautiful red original paintwork( tank ethanol proofed one year sealtime) sounded and rode really well, till crank went so theres a whole bike 1039 wiseco barrels with rings and pistons s/h which I never fitted half a spare motor only done 20.000 in its life, lot of new stuff like full genuine gasket set K&N's,there's loads more new stuff, but i'm running out of time , I spent a fortune, like you do, but the things got to go she says all the lot didn't help iv'e just bought a Z1R

Re: GPZ1000RX Motor
I bought her to do the Yorkshire run on 2013 it ran like a bag of doggies but on the upper reaches of the great north motorway omg smooth power piling on going as it should err well quick, if I thought the exup I had when I was younger was quick this ones top speed was silly stooped and still going, when back at normal speed bag of doggies again, when back home reason apparent one of the main jets had dropped off so at full wompies so over the next year I got it sorted sealed tank full brake refurb venhill hoses got antidive to work sorted carbs out made a nice reliable usable toy, bloody hell I could scape my boots on the roundabout at the end of the bypass, I was proud of it till the crank went, bugger!
still for sale drew
yes this is what it looked like in one piece and me chuffed to bits riding it still for sale drew

Re: GPZ1000RX Motor
Loved my old 1000RX
They don't handle as badly as their reputation suggests, although I did need a new rear shock (old one seemed to seize) and once I'd bypassed the anti-dive the forks worked much better too.
Great bike though.

Re: GPZ1000RX Motor
I know what you mean, running out of years. Don't go out when it's dark, unlike my giddy mate who does to kill things but then he's separated from the wife, me happy with what iv'e got, feel the cold, lose feeling in the odd finger whilst out on bike but still have a fierce love of things that spin and make a noise doing it
