Hi all not zed related but trying to help my late best friends partner clear his estate,
For sale klx300 4 stroke not done a lot used off road only twice, but stood for ages, Mileage is less than 1500 which I believe as I sourced the bike from a friend a few years back and it was mint when my late friend bought it. It does needs mot. I have the v5 etc

I sold the Klx to my mates cousin but ended up getting the klx back as he could not start it reliably he knew it had been standing so needed some tlc.Which I offered to do But he is not mechanically competent and decided he wanted a two stroke after all.
I had it back cleaned the carb out and checked all the timing etc and 95% of the time it starts fine.Its all mint inside engine which supports the very low mileage.
I think it still needs a float height adjustment as occasionally it overflows the carb which is the 5% of time it wont start. Could be the float valve needs replacing as it was stood for ages. I think if it was in regular use it would be fine as its not done anything.
Open to sensible offers around the £900 price on the basis that it does need some TLC just need it out the way really. So thought I would try on here first.
(Might also be parting with my KDX220R 2-STROKE 2002 if anyone is interested give me a shout but thats around the £1700 mark)
