I think you are right James, a uk bike is rare and you have the rear guard, like most people at that money it is a doable project as they are getting harder to find its a shame but the level of interest you have had shows this , i would have put it on ebay for 4k start and let it find its level. just saying

Looks like Geoff in Cornwall has got a good buy but nothing wrong with that,he agreed to pay the advertised price. A UK Z1B rear mudguard didn't come with a reflector.
