For sale : completely restored Kawasaki Z1000ST-R , my "café racer"
E1 type (1979) with Belgian documents.

Yes guys, she's for sale, my Z1000ST-R
It's an ST with a slightly adapted Z1-R fairing, a Z1R 4 in 1 exhaust collector and a replica exhaust damper and a Z1R handlebar.
The frame is NOT cut and solid, all the original parts are there, even the owners manual, the kick starter and the toolbox and tools.
It has BT 45 Batlax tires front and rear.
The engine received a new distribution chain, rollers, rubber dampers, guides etc, the bores were honed and the pistons received new rings.
It handles, rides and breaks like she has to.

That's a lovely looking restoration Philippe, and with the fairing too which is a nice twist.

After reading your great blog I hope mine will look as good as that - but minus the fairing (unless I can find one )

the Z1000st-R is so inspired I really love it
I was out on my newly purchased ST and was thinking as I was riding that it would be cool to find some of the part you used to make a twin of the z1000st-r

I i had know it was coming up for sale i would of not bought the one i had
