ZX-9R

#1 PostAuthor: Blackseven » Tue Oct 01, 2019 10:02 pm

Not sure if this will be of interest on here - being sold to make room for another Z project!

1994 ZX-9R (first year of production) in lovely original condition. Completely original spec and never damaged or messed with making it a bit of a rarity. 26,000 miles but really well cared for and has spent much of the last 20 years tucked up in a garage. Last winter I rebuilt the carbs, changed the valve stem seals (compressed air method), did the valve clearances (none were more than one shim size out), rebuilt the calipers, and changed the fluids and filters. Starts, runs and rides perfect. Recent tyres, C&S and battery. MOT'd and V5 in my name - properly quick bike and potential future classic being first model year and best colour scheme. £1750 to a club member. Thanks, Rob, Manchester 07710 648800.

Thats super nice and at a very temptimg prize. I wish it was offered here.

I remeber when the came out. I made a short ride with a test bike and was "shocked" how powerfull it was compared to anything I had driven before.
Cheers, Uli

Hi Blackseven
very nice bike, she looks like new! At that price I think she'll be sold very quick!
Good luck

Very tidy one and will sell at that price. I just sold an identical model but nowhere near as clean for 1600.
