Guys
Never thought i would have to type this but as many of you know steve aka Ginger Bear passed away in feb and as a result a couple of us have been helping kate his daughter and the family to clear his mass of bikes and parts .
His most recent and valued bike was his heavily moded z900 known to many the bike was loaned to the club by his mum with intentions of showing it at a few shows then eventually put up for sale at stafford and his mum said the club could keep the money not really knowing its value so after some discussion the money will be put back into the estate of Gb for his mum and family .
I could rabit on all night about steve but his bike says it all the price is a very reasonable £12500 ovno it has not done many miles since the build and wants for nothing
We thought about putting the feelers out on here for a z1oc member to own this superb motor of which if you search the projects section you will find the full detailed build
The bike is based in Bristol and any intrested partys will be put in touch

That is one trick bike, such a shame about the circumstances, it's very heart warming to see a member's family being assisted by someone in the club at such a difficult time, I suspect most of our better halves would have a fit if they knew what sort of money was tied up in our garages/lofts/under the stairs!
I sincerely hope it goes to a good home, best of luck.

Re: Ginger Bears superb z900
Knowing Steve it would have cost him way more in parts and services to build it; Steve always spent to the max on his builds. I vaguely recall him telling me on one of my many visits to his man cave how much he had spunked on the exhaust alone.
You would never build it for the asking price!
