Soooooo tempted, but my last time with a British bike was when I was 17, bought a BSA Starfire, pushed it further than I rode it. Will keep looking and thinking though ....."..........

Yes, they do need a bit of tinkering - but believe it or not, this one is pretty reliable as typically with older (proper) Trumpet's, they keep running to the death
Mine does have electronic ignition, a "PowerBox" which deals with all charging & lights (doesn't even need a battery, although got a dry cell fitted).
Also has a quality belt drive conversion which is great plus decent Amal carb with "leak-proof" float.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
