I'm selling this for a mate lads
the paint set is off a Dave Marsden special z1b that he bought at Stafford a couple of years ago, he swapped them for repo set when he got the bike home, no scratches or dinks, just not his cup of tea ...........hes looking for £700 before they go on eBay .....make him an offer and I'll pass it on

A little random, but it that the same paintwork that was on the original 'prototype' Z1?..... seem to remember Z-Power doing a resto on one.

You might be on to something there - here's a Kawasaki Australia picture of a Z1 prototype. The capacity on the side panels seems to have been obscured so the photo could apply to the 900 or 750 versions.

That's the one!... was doin' me fruit trying to think where I'd seen it.

Seem to recall Z-Power buying one (or it) in bits and doing a resto type blog on it. There were lots of people questioning if it was just a fake given the value's being quoted for it completed.

I saw that bike and I believ it sold for £10995, seemed cheap for what it was.

thats the bike he bought, he's got rid of all the red bits and put blue z1b paint set on it, looks well now to be honest
