Had this tuned by Graham at diptune a few years ago for a race project but it never got used so hasn't been run since building. Need to raise funds so having a clearout of bikes and parts. Cost me over well £2000 including buying the original motor. Looking for £1500 firm if anyone's interested.

Been sat with oil in it in my workshop.
I'm based in Morecambe if anyone wants to have a look. Kettle is always on.

Hi Floyd, any idea of what horse power this might deliver? Looking at a possible replacement for my endurance bike engine.

Hi Rob, I wouldn't like to say ,I can ask my mate tomorrow who's does some work for Graham who built it, he's at bsb at the moment, he works for one of the race teams. He's got, I think 3 kawasaki race bikes of his own that he's built, one Harris and 2 p&m's all with j/gpz motors. It is in a fairly high specification, maybe others on here would have a better idea than me. I'll let you know what my mate says as soon as I've spoken to him. Thanks, Peter.

Just spoke to my mate, he says it should give a minimum of 125bhp obviously depending on carbs and exhaust, 130 should be possible at least. His gpz engine in his early pm puts out just shy of 125hp with 29 mm carbs and an old pm exhaust, so with bigger carbs and suitable pipe etc etc. Hope this helps.

Got to be worth more than double the price !
If somebody looked at buying a standard motor, then doing all the work it'd easily cost a lot more.

Thats what id have thought Dave. I saw a standard z1000j motor sell for £1500 that looked like it had been in a skip and wanted a full rebuild.
