Not mine, ad on vjmc Facebook.
"A stunning 1972 Kawasaki Z1 900 with every correct date stamp present and the colour absolutely perfect. Any new parts were NOS with bills to prove, set up and delivered by The Motorcycle Broker post restoration. Frame is painted the correct black with the correct finish, not powder coated. It comes with a photographic file of the entire restoration process. There is not a better example on the market anywhere."

If he wants to sell it it'll have to be virtually half the price in the current market as Frank found out.

Not sure. I was at the ally pally auction 3 or 4 years back. Frank bought a restored pair. One for 18k plus commission the other for 22k plus commission. One week later and both were on his website at 43k each. There they languished for 18 odd months unsold. I think the did eventually sell them for mid 20's each.

There's 2 on their web site ,1 for 37K & this one i think which there is also a vid on YouTube. Mentions a guru but not named , how many gurus can you name .Achim , Z2John, has wrong carbs but has none ribbed ones with it ( why would you ) no mirrors but has some original ones but not the early ones ( A 4 ones I think ) no clips or numbers on HT leads .All that glitters isn't gold.

Not me. Have to say, I haven't seen this yet as I am not a member of that forum.
I always think that anyone can restore a Z1 to 95% correct for the usual cost but every 1% more you strive to perfection will cost at least another 5 grand. I've been working on my Z1 resto for 18 years and have got to about 99% at great cost. Still working on it.
Yes I know it is all very anal to most but there you go......you can't take it with you!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGYSEfzWzu4 I think this is it . I looked at a H2c 2 years ago allegedly built by a " guru " so i asked RB about it for advice . Its still 4 sale at the same price 25 K (H2c) 2 years later .People just make stuff up is my point.

This place is just down the road from me and I didn't know it existed. Interesting comment about the original carbs to be fitted prior to delivery ?

One word sums it up GREED
Re: 72 Z1 for sale-comments gents.
Publicity stunt. I doubt you'd have got anywhere near these prices at the height of the boom, let alone now.

For that price you would expect a correct original ignition switch, the orange lining at the rear of the tank comes down to the end at the wrong angle which nearly all painters can't get right, the mirrors are the later model.
