KZ1000 A1 in Diamond Sky Blue built October 1976 (1977 model) Lincoln, Nebraska.
Imported from Minnesota January 2012 by Rick Brett.
Partial restoration where required and re-commissioning carried out by Z enthusiast. Stainless steel silencers to replace rotten originals, new paint set, saddle and many other items.
I purchased October 2012 with all import documents and USA title documents. V5C in my name, first UK registered November 2012, with age-related plate. Now registered "Historic Vehicle" so tax and MOT exempt. Current mileage 15355 miles, believed genuine from all documentation received at time of purchase.
Only used in dry conditions since. Very tidy ride, with as many original parts retained as possible. Recent works include: fogged sealed headlight replaced, clocks professionally cleaned and refurbished and total front brake overhaul.
