The great thing about biking is individuals with different tastes and backgrounds sharing a common interest. Modern Retros will always be Marmite that is what makes it interesting. I doubt Kawasaki ever set out to recreate the Z1 or even the nostalgia of the era. Just great modern bikes with a hint of retro as an alternative to the bland looking plastic race reps.

Personally I prefer the Cafe Racer to other one, would I part with my Z1b for one? Probably not.
