Something Different

#1 PostAuthor: Bill P » Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:39 pm

Here's a few piccies of a project i have been doing for a while in between a few other bit's and bob's.
As usual it looked a lot better with the Rose coloured glass's on, Tank top nearly seperated from bottom on removal and the source of low compression turned
out to be a holed piston , the list of horror's goes on but i thoroughly enjoyed it even though i went over budget :) if there ever really is one on a restoration at
my house.
It's a 1969 Triumph TR6C and i do have the correct coloured tank for it but this was closer to hand when i wanted to take picture's.
I hope you enjoy them even though it's not got the big K on the tank :)

Hi Bill

congratulations, you did a beautiful job!
Never mind going over the budget, it's the joy and satisfaction of restoring an old bike that counts !

Busy Bill.
Great looking machine (even if it's not a trident :D ).
If this bloody rain ever stops I'll be over to check it out.

All assembled now in the proper colours for a 69 model just fuel pipes to connect once the appropriate tap fitting's arrive.
I've had her run up with the aux tank she started very easily indeed so pleased with outcome but the proof will be in the test drive up
my test route very soon i hope
