GoPro Hero camera, help needed

#1 PostAuthor: RogerJ » Mon Aug 22, 2011 1:54 pm

I bought a GoPro Hero hd camera for my recent scampering around some od Austria's finest roads. Now I am back (with the incriminating evidence
), does anyone on here know how do I convert the files so that I can edit them using (for example) Windows Movie Maker? I just want to edit them, add music, etc and be able to put them on DVD for use on the telly .

Stunning bit of kit, just wish I had loud pipes on the Speedtriple.

Use mp4cam2avi to convert the MPEG 4 footage to AVI, which Windows Movie Maker can import.

If you want to film in the UK, avoid capturing your clocks and use the time lapse feature, setting it to every 30 seconds or so.
