So, sold a bike (the XBR500) and a few other odds & sods..... and decided to fork out for a "modern" machine
Now I don't really do modern bikes (thats 1990's-on) but this little bike has been on my radar for some time now........ ever since I had a look at Ed's W650
This is a 2001 model - the rack, screen, Scottoiler & mirrors will be removed pretty damned quickly then it'll be time to start the "bonding" process

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
Nice choice Piglet,
That twin set should slow you down a bit.
Quite liking the look of the 800 version in Green myself.
Anyhow here's a sneak preview of what you will have to do once the rack is off

Hope you get along well together

Nothing wrong with a "650 twin"!!!
I love my XS650's MORE than my Zeds!!!!
from your posts I doubt if you can keep your shit in...
And your yams ...well feck off to the world wide meeting of owners..coming to a phone box near you
I think you are a closet XS 650 fan???
You love them really. Go on admit it.
AND owning one (or TWO) means that you do NOT need to pay 3 million pounds for a 100 pounds exhaust, you actually get TWO lovely silencers for LESS than 100 notes!!!!

It's OK - Taffus only bottled it & rode a new TRIUMPH to the German Z Rally
I had an XS650B back in the early 80's - wasn't overly keen on it then - but at 18yrs old SPEED & BHP were king..... I really like them now I'm quote: "old & past it"!
