Nothing wrong with a "650 twin"!!!

I love my XS650's MORE than my Zeds!!!!

from your posts I doubt if you can keep your shit in...
And your yams ...well feck off to the world wide meeting of owners..coming to a phone box near you :D

It's OK - Taffus only bottled it & rode a new TRIUMPH to the German Z Rally :!:

I had an XS650B back in the early 80's - wasn't overly keen on it then - but at 18yrs old SPEED & BHP were king..... I really like them now I'm quote: "old & past it"!

The triumph was my only option to go as my GPz was in pieces and I had no time to build it up again.
Or I could have really bottled it and stayed in OAP's hostel with you! :D

So I spent a bit of time taking off the rack, screen & Scottoiler (for sale) and gave it a quick wipe over..... looks a bit better..... just some flatter bars needed now.....

Cheers Ian - she does clean up well

These little bikes are real nice - they have a reasonable bit of "low end" grunt and those std pea-shooters actually sound OK, if a bit quiet.

For some reason Kawasaki decided to fit 1" Fat Bar's to these bikes - which makes it a bit less straight forward to swap bars  Can't see meself forking out over £250 for a low-bar kit :?? ... even if that does include shorter cables, etc.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Looks like a nice bike Mark. I prefer the higher bars, I think they look right.

Now I don't really do modern bikes (thats 1990's-on) but this little bike has been on my radar for some time now........ ever since I had a look at Ed's W650

This is a 2001 model - the rack, screen, Scottoiler & mirrors will be removed pretty damned quickly then it'll be time to start the "bonding" process

Why is this in "The Bottom Shed".

Must admit it was Ed's "W" that got me interested in these bikes :!: These modern rides are just so sweet & easy for an old fella :P

Adrian, A motorcycle mechanic friend of mine is selling his personal "full power" VMax, if you are interested.
