Never had a V-Twin, so I thought it was about time I put that right
It's a 1979 850 Leman MkII Guzzi..... not as pricey as the first model, but very similar apart from the squared off tank and lower fairing & clox, also calipers moved to rear of forks, otherwise all the same frame & engine
it's recently been imported from South Afrika and currently getting a UK reg. (Guaranteed Ebola & rust free). P/ex'd me W650 for it.

So you bought it from Conquest Motorcycles, and did not pop in for a cup of tea.

I used to work on that estate, I take it he's still on Woolsbridge?
He had a Z1000 a while back which I nearly bought, but decided to hold out for a 900.
Nice Guzzi btw

I had a 750s3 many years ago. I won the slow bike race down the field at a rally once on it. I remember the side stand was on the bottom of the front down tube and when the rear carrier was loaded up with my tent etc it would wheely of the stand and fall over all on its own. Had to use the centre stand.
