They get really good reviews, I like it in the yellow Anniversary colours as well. Saw one at On Yer Bike the other weekend.

I must admit i'm not a fan of this new style.

A bit like a magnet has run through the production line and got a load of mis-matched bits stuck to it.

well took the Yamaha xsr 700 out for a test ride very nice bike but not enough power for me so had a ride on the xsr 900 what a great bike very powerful very easy to ride and loves the twisty back roads same engine as the Yamaha mt09 order 60 th anniversary picking up end of october

Got my 1973 SS50 (early fs1e ) on eBay to go towards a 60 th anniversary XSR900. Really like the look.

done just over 100 miles on the bike today rode mostly in b mode ,the slower mode out of the three power setting b mode is very powerful not slow one bit, its not ment to wheelie in this mode had in full traction control open it up a bit from some traffic lights in b mode the front wheel was lifting in the first and second gear put my weight over the front to keep it down also had traction control on kept bring the wheel down to the ground also try it in A mode last couple miles from home and gave it hand full it goes like rocket it was try to lift the front in forth gear but still running in so not over 6000rpm it handles better than any other bike I have rode and it seems have a lot more power than my zxr636 that I had for fifteen years and still own :D
