Bought another stroker

#1 PostAuthor: Is Vic There » Sat Jan 21, 2017 8:52 pm

As you know I've put the Mag 2 on hold as I was rushing it and cutting corners, wasn't happy with the electrics so thought I'd have a break!

Bought an RG250 with low KM, stripped it and am in the process of sorting the parts out for plating, painting or just degreasing. I've cleaned the frame and its come up very nice! I reckon the bike has really been loved in the past and stored inside which is unusual for a Jap import.

When purchased

A day to strip, just degreased, does nee to be polished.

Bought this as well, been in talks with the bloke since last November, managed to haggle a good price, he bought it new in the UK and brought it with him when he emigrated, really happy I've got this, just need the Yamaha RD/RZ500 and I've got the three iconic 2T of the 80's. Oh, I'd still like an RD350 :D

This is coming over from Perth so will take a couple of weeks, not told the Mrs! the plan is to put it with all the other 2T and see how long it take her to notice!!!!!!!!!!!!
