.... for a change.

Picked up this little KH400 A4 a few months ago. Amazingly original and untouched with a genuine 3.5K miles on the clock. She's still wearing her original Factory Yokohama Tyres.

Carbs were ultrasonic cleaned (Cheers Will) and the usual fluids replaced. She's then been given a light refresh, a new seat cover and a proper detailing, otherwise she's pretty much factory fresh down to her Candy Emerald Green paint.

Just waiting for one of the exhausts to come back from the chromers and she's ready to go :D .

Note the front disc has almost no wear.....

Very nice and it's always good to find a 'survivor' - what's the story behind it?

Italian import 2001 then pretty much unused for the next 16 years. Sadly the last six months it was stored outside under a tarpaulin so had started to suffer from the damp.

Original Toolkit and Handbook under the seat, two original keys and even still wearing her original supplying Italian dealer sticker from 1977.....

Nice story Garry, sounds like you got to it before any red rot got a proper grip.

Sadly not soon enough Andrew as the Tarpaulin had trapped the damp against the upper right pipe causing some blistering, hence the rechrome.

The one in the pic is the original LH pipe. I'm only having one redone (upper right) which I'll not get back 'til the new year.
