When I was young about 10 years old, my friend's dad collected Vincent's., this was when no one wanted them. He had Black lightning, white lightning, a rapide and black Prince. His bike when he passed his test at 17 was a red Comet. Unfortunately his dad died when we were still young, so I don't know what happened to the bikes.

When i were lad,we had a Brit Bike shop Called Autocycle in the small place i was brought up,can remember Vincents,Broughs,Velo,s all scruffy just lying outside or used as hacks by the two brothers who ran the shop.All we wanted was the latest Jap stuff,hindsight eh?
