So in my attempt to declutter and thin out my bikes I have ended up keeping the Z1000 and adding these two buggers - How the hell does that happen?
V35 350 Moto Guzzi anyone?

Hi csx355
strange things happen in life!
You start with one bike, all of a sudden you have the opportunity to buy a second one and before you realise what's happening you have a problem... your garage is too small and you build a shed to put your bikes in but then the shed is allmost empty and you try to fill it up a little bit because you have the space and then...you loose control.
Don't worry... I think there are a lot of guys on the forum who want to help you to dump a few bikes that litter your collection. Very helpfull people indeed.

Re: I love it when a plan comes together!
That makes me feel loads better -
I have three Hodnas, two Guzzi's, two Yams, two Kawasaki's, one Triumph, One Suzook, and a Mobylette.
The Katana is going to replace my 12000 mile 650 Deauville runabout so that's going to be canned, the Moby is officially sold but the new owner has not picked it up yet, the little Guzzi is lovely but I also have a Monza so the 350 is heading for the door. And bizarrely I may still shed the Z - it's beautiful to look at an original UK bike with matching numbers but it's just such a big ass bike to have around. It all makes sense in my head. Having said that I'll probably change my mind again tomorrow.

Re: I love it when a plan comes together!
Yesss - I now have only two Hodna's having sold my CB550K3 basket case tonight. Three more to go and I might treat myself to a T120 Bonny.
Re: I love it when a plan comes together!
A blue RD250C. Very nice. I had one of those as my first learner bike. I got spat off it - the footrest bracket under the pipe would ground out - looked good at night though. I nearly became a human torch with it once, when the fuel tank balance pipe let go all of the fuel over a hot engine once. Nail it down the road, and it would leave a huge satisfying cloud of smoke in it's wake. Mind you, my 350LC I had after would do that as well :-) Great times.

Re: I love it when a plan comes together!
Sun's out so thought that I would get the girls out.
Got to ride all of them this week - albeit tentatively on the Z - Stripped and rebuilt the front calliper on the 400/4 today and what a difference that made. Fun Fun Fun.

I've shown great restraint and managed to turn 11 bikes into 7 .
Soon to be 6 , i'll soon be able to work on a bike without pushing others outside first
