Hi Guys,
What the general view of this years NEC bike show?
I must be getting old as nothing stood out with respect to new bikes. Thought the katana was interesting but look to me that they stopped building it once they got past the seat.
Oh yep still bloody expensive day out with £25 on the door ticket.

Re: NEC bike show 2018
I go every year with my best mate. We buy our tickets & parking in advance, so it costs £25. We take down a load of sarnies, snacks and drinks (including beer). So for us it's a reasonably cheap day out looking at bikes and totty.
Here's the photos I took - mainly classic bikes and interesting stuff:

Thought the show was reasonable and if you take your own grub then it does level out the costs.
Always nice to say hello to someone when wearing their Z1OC clothing
Nice to meet you Sven

Re: NEC bike show 2018
Just got home via the pub.
Thought the show was ok but really nothing inspired me apart from the new Z900rs in all its different colours. Norton had a good prescence although for some reason slightly disappointed with the new Altlas. Can't quite sort this one out in my head........
Reckon the Henry Cole "inspired" 961 is still hard to beat.
Pleased i went this year for the first time in a long time. If i had a choice i would be going to Stafford

And you.
Re: NEC bike show 2018
I'd agree that it was a bit of a disappointment and there's no encouragement to go when it's £25 on the door plus £16 parking.
I'd rather go to Stafford.
Gary.
