Secret Hodna breaks cover
I know its a Hodna, and just how much Hodnas are adored on these hallowed pages : but i've just about finished tarting her up and think she makes a nice garage mate for trusty red Z900.
She sounds pretty nice too
Cheers Tim

Very Nice. Easily Hodna's best looking bike of the period.

Re: Secret Hodna breaks cover
Always had a secret hankering for one of those and yours looks lovely. My only experience of riding one was back in the 70's when they first came out at a Hodna open day at Brands. You just had to put your name down and wait your turn for a run around the GP circuit. Downside was they sent a pace car out in front and behind you

Re: Secret Hodna breaks cover
The CBX looks great Tim, well done on doing a great job - it's a bike I always wanted but never bought. A mate ('Dangerous Dave') bought a US spec Z model a few years ago, I rode it and found the power delivery awesome and almost turbine like - shame his bike's brakes weren't up to the performance, or maybe it was the tires?
A rose between two thorns at the Ace........
However, now some of us are confessing to owning a Hodnaaa (and there's nothing wrong with that!), I bought a 1971 (J plate) CB750 K1 before Christmas. It's a US spec 20,600 mile survivor that had been left with fuel in the tank for 3 years and not been started during that time. It just needed some TLC, so I cleaned it up (it was covered in ACF50) and got it started over Christmas. I now just need to balance the carbs to get it to idle and clean all the crap out of the tank when the weather warms up a tad.
There, it's out there - flame away!

Re: Secret Hodna breaks cover
Gorgeous Six! And with TT100s fitted, that’s very brave!
Re: Secret Hodna breaks cover
TT100's - have to agree - - I fear the worst.
Previous owner fitted them approx 5yrs ago and did a total of 8 miles on her since that time: I reckon a pair of BT45's will be on her by Spring - but will try the TT's first.
Andrew, my mate has a mint K2 that he has owned for 35+ years - nice bike: yours looks a lovely example.
