z power center stand

#1 PostAuthor: gpjes » Sun Mar 31, 2019 8:32 am

Anyone ever had a problem with the leg arm of the z power main stand bending on operation? I bought a brand new one a few years ago never used it, and sold it to my mate who spent a few hours fitting it to his A4 hoho, if you must have the four pipes :D expect the extra work, yes he's bent it so its lower than the LH foot of the mainstand so a bit wobbly :biggrin just wondered if anyone else has had a problem with this bit? I can probably move it back upwards with a bit of gentle pressure

Did I mis-read that? What's bent , the stand or the exhaust ? A stand that that you can bend back with " gentle pressure " sounds a bit dodgy !!!

Don't know if it's the same with Zeds but Seem to recall this coming up a while ago with Pattern Triple stands. Seems the metal is much thinner and easier to bend.

Having seen the stand in question, I'd say it's a repro - I have never seen an OEM stand bend and crease. I would suspect that if you bend it back it will go again.
