Closest motor to a Z1 you are ever going to get and copied almost directly from the Z engine design.
Even the cylinder stud spacings are the same and the GS head will drop straight on the Z motor.
A mod that was popular in drag racing to take advantage of the GS's bigger valves until the 'J' motors came out.

Problem is if you went to see it you would probably walk away , so now you have a project and you would have stripped it anyway no doubt !

He’s always done great work for me, top lad! He’s painted three or four complete bikes and I’ve been pleased every time!
He painted my A1 as well!

GS750 engine was designed by the same person designed the Z1 engine (he left Kawasaki and went to work for Suzuki) hence why the engines are so similar, GS1000 is a stretched GS750.

Yes! I was going to mention that in the same post but was fending off the 2 year old grandson trying to press all the keys on the lap top so gave up intending to add that info later when he was asleep but forgot
