Little bit of progress in last few days , started to clean up the wheels for paint and polish
then my boy visited and popped the nr 1000cc lump on the bench so we whipped the top
of for checking rebore valve guides or whatever it might need but looks very good up to
now, i'm not touching the bottom end as all was fine just a good clean up before being
built up, the head and barrels need a coat of silver paint any suggestions for good paint
gratefully received :) , Tank is of to Eddie the welder to have the stupid breather of that
someones added in front of filler cap before bodywork goes of to Shaun the Painter for
him to do his magic

Hi Bill P,
It often wanders out to the hope valley during the summer months as my lady wife is partial to a pint of a fine pale ale sat outside a scenic country pub and we’re often in Hope, Castleton etc. :D

Had a few minutes to spare so got the GS1000 into a roller so as its not taking up the bench etc , much easier now it can
be rolled out the way . Should have the head and barrel back this week from having them skimmed and valves leak tested
then the fun can begin :)

I think it's to do with the outage on Saturday, it seems to have removed the link to some of the photos.

It's because of the site being down a few days ago and the attachment links are lost/broken.
I've lost over 100 pics from my latest build thread an am slowly going through it and re-posting the pics .
Luckily it's only the most recent threads that are affected and not the older ones .
Thankfully the image number is still visible so it's easy to replace them rather than trying to remember what pics belong where.
