Hi Guys
As the title says, got a mate with pods on a 2000 1200 Bandit and needs some set up advice. He never heard it running before now. It does run but does not rev cleanly. Anybody got any advice or experience with this kind of set up. It has a well made 4 into 2 exhaust system fitted.

Cheers guys.

Gus

CV carbs don't like running without still baffled air from the airbox.
The separate intake pulses generated from using individual pods upsets the diaphragms giving uneven rough running.
At the very least he needs dual pods which will help cancel out the uneven pulses between each pair of carbs to smooth out the running.
I'd also look at getting a Dynojet kit in it if not already fitted.

The bandit 12 runs better with an airbox than pods
