What are you doing whilst in 'self-isolation'?

Talk about all your non-Zed or even Kawasaki bikes here.

What are you doing whilst in 'self-isolation'?

#1 PostAuthor: Andrew_s » Sun Mar 22, 2020 1:42 pm

As Buzzard suggested in the 2020 Yearbook thread, there's not much else to do in self-isolation other than work on our bikes. So it's a good opportunity to take some pics of your Zeds and write an article for the next Yearbook and that'll give Chris plenty of material to choose from.

I'm not currently in self-isolation and luckily my Z900 is in good health, but I'm pretty sure my activities during my ongoing recovery from illness wouldn't be welcomed in the Yearbook.....

I live in a village with no shops or pub etc and we are over 12 miles from the nearest town.
I actually see more people now than I did before the virus hit with all the do gooders knocking on the door

Looks like I'll be stuck at home for the next few months so been getting the REX ready for 'whenever' we can get out. All the fluids needed doing, a few black bits needed a coat of paint, a set of correct mirrors and then a good detailing, especially the motor.

Still a little to finish but no real rush now. :(

Saturday - spent all day cleaning my Z1B / took it out for a blat.
Sunday - mowed the lawn / cleaned off the decking / swept the drive and side path - whilst my missus went round the garden weeding / trimming etc. YAWN - YAWN - YAWN
Today back to work - All site meetings cancelled on the 3 projects I have on site.
Will be spending most of the week - Drawing up sketch schemes for a Care Home Extension in Weymouth.

Shut my work down yesterday, not that i see any clients, key holder, well this morning bin men emptied bins in the close ( they do a sterling job so hats off to them) and they just leave them in the road, always have so no change there, so i disinfected all handles with bleach solution and returned them to their homes, had my yellow marigolds on, i am saving the bike service for when i am really climbing the walls, will also be reading and TV.

Last week pretty wiped out with no energy but now feeling better and managed to sort front garden yesterday. Going to do back today and then try and sort out a few decorating jobs and clear some crap out of the garage so I can find my Zed!! Stay safe everyone and take care :)
