On the way to the Bol in '91. Took it to the Bol twice, plus French MotoGP at Le Mans and at Ricard, so three times at least to the South of France.

Whilst in self isolation, I've just finished restoring this old Hodna.
I've also bought a Z1000R, a 3k mile GPZ1000RX and also a GPz750 Turbo.
So plenty to do.... ☺

All looking good Will.

I know it's not the done thing on a Kawasaki forum but the CB1100R was a non-kawasaki bike I lusted after (past tense as my pockets aren't now deep enough). Just loved the race styling and colour, never had a chance of a ride to actually see what they were like. Looks like a few hours spent in the garage.

Hiya kids, well still alive and yes my loving wife has contracted those spikey little twatting bugs but me i've had some mother effing colds a real stinker end of November probably at big bike show at brum, but not caught it of our lass she caught it at work, one ignorant t**t £35000 a year, made it through the green zone next set of doors amber zone where the doff off bins are through final doors with warning signs on, into the ground zero ward to talk to some one in a bed about Ramadan, the matron with ppe on screams get out, this was 5 weeks ago, he remains at work, coughing and spluttering, over the whole cardiology dept, and infected from consultants down to the cleaning staff, furious, you bet I am, my poor wife, Is only just getting a slight sense of taste back, me busy time of year, as usual, but did have to self isolate for 14 days, lucky I worked like joe buggery before, Boris & Richie have done me proud, though fixed a load of petrol jetwashes too, so plenty of take away pennies, My little buddy has just bought a Z9RS to match old A4 he's got same colour, FFS be Adventerours whats wrong with Purple? Stay safe out there, your not all safe wear a bloody mask, love JES

The Sunday before last i took the 650xs out for a spin, around 20 miles, about 3/4 of a mile from home i lost a cylinder accompanied by an unholy clattering, limped it home, and took valve covers off low and behold a valve stuck open, so off with as much as possible without removing the motor, following day motor out and head off, valve bent both ends, galled including the guide i had to cut tip of valve off before i could remove it, it had also caught the inlet valve so that was stuffed as well, no other damage, so i went on fleabay and got a head from D.K complete with valves one cover stud missing, it's a little gem hardly any wear on the valves or seats so cleaned up, lapped the valves in, motor back in Sunday, everything else back on Monday, and started her up second prod of the kick sounds better than ever, a little video of her running in the garage today before i balance the carbs, sound terrible in there, i guess because of the enclosed space, outside much quieter. What caused this to happen i have no idea as i measured everything while stripping and all in spec, i won't waste to much time trying to fathom it, as at a cost of a couple of hundred quid and a few hours in the garage it's not worth it.
